Turning Thirteen

Turning Thirteen

Dear Lucas,

Pa and I are having a hard time believing that you, are first grandchild, are turning thirteen. Your birth was one of the most thrilling moments of our lives and you have given us pleasure from day one.

It has been wonderful watching you grow up and evolve into this cool, handsome, interesting and interested guy, someone who is always thoughtful and sweet to others. You are the ultimate athlete, a curious and successful student and a supportive older brother who is also a first class tease. Best of all, you are an affectionate and loving person.

And did I say that you are VERY funny??

And let me reiterate…

Lucas, your Bar Mitzvah marks a special moment in your life - it’s a turning point and we wish you good luck as you go forward. We have confidence that you will continue to develop all your wonderful talents and still find new areas of curiosity to explore. The vistas are endless. Go for it!

Good luck on Saturday. We love you and take great pride in the person you are.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Love Always,
Nana and Pa
